Official notification now open for the application for extensions 2008

Through this official notification, the Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya (SOC), mitjançant ) is promoting the contraction of Job and Local Development Agents (AODL): technical staff, with higher of further educational qualifications, who work full-time on a local development project backed by local entities dependent on or linked to the local authority.

General information

The AODL are technical staff with higher or further educational qualifications who work full-time on a on a local development project backed by local entities dependent on or linked to the local authority. Their role is to boost, promote and undertake, jointly with the other officers in the area (social, economic, business agents and others), policies and programmes that favour economic promotion in their area of work, aiming towards sustainable economic growth and job creation. The amount of the subsidy will be 80% of the total labour costs of the job and local development officer, with a maximum of 27,045.54 euros for each subsidised contract, which will be awarded for one year, extendable to a maximum of four years.

Training programme for the network of AODLs and economic promotion officers of Catalonia

They are training actions planned and organised by the SOC with the aim of providing continuous technical support and improving the professionalism of the Job and Local Development Officers and economic promotion officers of the local entities. All these training actions are given by external consultants, through their employment.

The Generalitat de Catalunya funds 100% of the cost of training, which is planned and organised directly from the SOC.
