2008 Notification
The programme that encourages the fixed contract hiring of young people in order to improve competitiveness and social cohesion.
The Catalan Employment Service offers, with co-funding from the European Social Fund, up to a total of 10,000,000 euros is subsidies to encourage the stabilising of young people in the job market, improving their professional situation as well as business competitiveness.
For each transformation of a temporary or time-restricted contract of a worker aged 30 or less to a full-time fixed contract, the company will receive a subsidy of 2,000 euros. In the case whereby the person has a disability level of 33% or more, the subsidy will be 2,500 euros.
Regulation
- Order TRE/471/2007, of the 5 December, which approves the rules for awarding extraordinary subsidies for the promotion and maintenance of employment of young people and the opening of the official announcement of the tender anticipated for 2008.
