Eures (European Employment Services) ) is a cooperation network for the employment and the free movement of workers, basic principle of the European Union (EU).
This cooperation network is promoted by the European Comission and the employment public services of the Common European Economic Space (CEES) countries.

The Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya (SOC) has 4 Eures advisers. They are specialists in labour market, at a communal and trasfrontier level. Their task consists of informing and advising the workers and the companies on the job offers and the labour conditions in all countries of the European Union and frontier regions.
